Corvettes by Rick Daniel is no longer a Supporting Vendor

Corvettes by Rick Daniel has made the decision to cease their support of Z06Vette.com. Evidently Rick and Les Standford Chevrolet have filled their Z06 allocations out into 2008, and no longer feel the need to serve this community of enthusiasts.

I would like to suggest that our members support the remaining dealership that continues to support our site, Ross Downing Chevrolet (Jason Walter). When you are considering your next Corvette purchase please give this dealership the opportunity to earn your business.

Mark

Maxie Price is screwing over the people on their list. This is common knowledge. Why do you recommend them? You should boot them off the site.

Its funny you wrote that because I have been trying to get in touch with Rick Daniel's and he has not even returned one of my calls. That is pretty damn rude of him I guess they have enough money now. But not mine. Thanks, I'll try the other guy now.

What is this thread anyway, a Rick Daniel lynching ?

He is a businessman that has no cars to sell you now. Why would you expect him to throw time and money at something that nets him nothing ?

He probably has a family to feed and is busy chasing sales that will put food on the table. Whats wrong with that?

Capitolism at work! God Bless America and Rick Daniels!

Les Standford

I tried buying a Vette from them a few years ago as an employee. I asked if they were offering employee discounts on Vettes. The salesman ask what I was looking for. I said I was specifically looking for a Z06. He said "specifically no". I left and bought a Z06 from Allen Chevy in Monroe. For those of you that don't know, Allen doesn't (at least at the time) sell or even have a lot of Vettes. They were happy to give me my employee price. Les can keep his cars and his poor service department.

I saw where Les Stanford got their hands slapped by GM for taking deposits on new Camaros. GM was not at all happy with them for taking deposits on a car that they have not confirmed that it will be built.

I tried to talk to Rick Daniel about a Z06 a couple of years ago and all I got was the typical car salesman run around. I could not get him to give me a price on the car.:

Is reading something of a problem for you??

If you read the first post in the thread and determined that this was a "lynching", I've got to assume you have some problems with 'reading comprehension'.
The thread notifies the members that RD is no longer a supporting vendor, offers his reasoning and asks members to support a vendor who IS a site sponsor.

Exactly what part of that don't you understand?

Mike

Ross Downing is GREAT! I have bought 2 Z06s from Jason, and I'm on his list for an 08 too!

Cheers,
