Unwarranted Comments and Hijacking Threads
There seems to have been a rash of posts recently in a variety of sales threads where one of two things is happening:
1. Someone advertises a part or a car for a given price, and one or more people feel obligated to tell the seller that their price is too high, or wrong in some way.
2. Someone is trying to sell a part and another person comes into the thread and tries to hijack the thread by telling everyone that they also have the same part to sell, often at a lower price.
If you read a sales thread and you do not like the price, simply do not buy the product, BUT KEEP YOUR COMMENTS TO YOURSELF.
If you have a product to sell, OPEN YOUR OWN THREAD AND ADVERTISE IT, DO NOT HIJACK ANOTHER MEMBERS THREAD.
These actions are are unwarranted, and classless. This type of behaviior will not be tolerated any longer on this site.
As moderators we will be watching for this type of activity, and those that decide to participate in this form of expression could end up losing thier posting privieleges on the this site.
So knock it off.
