Hi All
My name is Ken Kozlowski - and I own/operate a small brake parts company in Cary, North Carolina - a mere hours drive from the absolutely stunning Virginia International Raceway. I am a degreed mechanical engineer by training - but in reality I'm just a car enthusiast like most of you. I do this so I can spend weekends doing this.
I just signed up as a supporting vendor on the site and I look forward to earning a good reputation as a qualified parts vendor. I think you'll find me honest, helpful and easy to deal with.
I have been working w/ several track guys at VIR on Z06 brakes - and after a year I decided I was ready to join up.
When Jeff started:
And at the end of a successful rookie year
Went through these quick because GM chose to ruin them w/ holes - and even commit the Mercedes error of only making one side.
SO they do this pretty fast - often right while you are excitedly talking w/ others about the session you just finished BOOM!
THAT"S NOT A DBA ROTOR.....
Really thin 2 piece rotors didn't fare too well - shot those in a day
Ask me what I think? Well the plate thickness isn't enough - nor are there enough vanes. NASCAR rotors take more torture than anything - they'll have up to 72 vanes and thicker plates.
DBA on the left - aftermarket 2 piece on the right
I am a stocking distributor of:
Hawk Performance Brake Pads
DBA (Disc Brake Australia) brake rotors.
GFC Rotors (Generic F****** Chinese)
I sell Ferodo and am working to get a reliable source who doesn't FAIL for PFC because I know some of ya really like those 01's.
I also am a Brembo and Stoptech dealer - some nice brake kits.
Fluids and lines come along for the ride as well.
The goal is to sell enough brakes to be able to afford to buy a Z06 as my rides around VIR in them have been fairly staggering. For now I'll have to settle for my 400WHP STi.
Happy new years - cheers etc...
If you have a question - would like a quote on parts - or just want to stalk me send me an email/PM/smoke signal....I tend to be responsive to queries.
