If your car is in good shape--good shine, with only surface swirl marks--and you park in a protected area/wipe down your car often--you can get by with these items.
1. Detail Spray--get it by the gallon.
2. Clay Bar
3. Revive Polish
4. Brilliant Spray Glaze
5. Butter Wax
6. Vinyl, Rubber, & Tire Dressing (VRT)
7. Microfiber applicator pads
8. Microfiber towels
Most any good car wash will work for you; use Dawn dishwashing liquid, if stripping old wax.
Clay bar the car with Detail spray for lube.
Follow with Revive Polish on an applicator pad slightly misted with Detail Spray.
Wipe off residues from previous steps using Detail Spray and microfiber towels.
Apply Brilliant Glaze using a microfiber applicator pad spritzed with Glaze. Let dry to haze and buff off with microfiber towel. Works great on glass and chrome, too.
IF additional protection is needed, apply Butter Wax over Brilliant Glaze. (Note: the Glaze will remove Wax, so use first--I alternatively using Glaze OR Wax, rather than Wax over Glaze.)
VRT on interior, brake ducts, hoses, tires, etc.
I also use the Detail Glaze sprayed on a towel to wipe down my chrome rims.
The Absolute Essentials Kit is a great starter, listed at about $180., and remember, if you list
Z06 as your discount code you get 10% off your order.
