Okay, so I dumped the Zaino and purchased car wash, detail spray, revive polish, buttery wax, glaze, applicator pads, micro fiber towels etc etc.
I have a black 2007 Z that was water spotted from dealer. Had friend at auto repair shop lightly machine buff to get rid of the water spots which I couldn't get rid of myself. That left some swirl marks. I'm happy to report I'm making progress with the revive polish (about 90% gone). Initially I washed and polished twice with the revive, then put a coat of wax and then the glaze. I did all this in the garage because of weather here in Montana. Next time the Z was out in the sun, I still had a few. This past weekend, I did it all again. Fewer swirls again. It occurs to me that I should stay with the revive until swirls are gone. Am I correct that putting the wax on and then again using the revive just takes the wax off? I've got two bottles of the revive and two bottles of the wax. It's had a total of 4 coats of revive and two of the wax and two of the glaze (by the way, I really think that glaze is neat and makes the surface look wet and the microfiber pads and towels are the best I've seen or used). Well, this is a long story to ask the short question: Should I just stay with the revive until the swirls are gone before using the wax and glaze? I really like your stuff and the car looks great. You have to be obsessive compulsive in the sun to see the swirls at this point. I'm probably the only one who would notice, but I'm going to keep at it until they are GONE. Thanks for the help.
I originally put this in the car wash section. It was probably the wrong place so I'll post again here.

Every time you put the Revive on you are removing the wax. Polishes are cleaners and remove what's under them.

Depending on your swirls you may want to consider the porter cable w/ an orange lake country pad w/ the revive polish. Then move foward w/ wax and glaze. And yes you have to solve this 1st then move into the other steps. Adams website has video tips give a look. I have a black 08 and i'm just as anal. Everything will enhance it after you get it right. If you not using a porter cable I highly recomend it, it makes everything easier and faster. The orange pad is just for swirls and scratches don't use it w' the wax.
I think there may be tips on their website you're missing out on. Another thing: you can call their staff - maybe even Adam - whenever you need advice. Their customer service is excellent, from what I hear. Good luck.

Re: Adams Question
You're on the right track--stick with the Revive and save the Buttery Wax for later. You're just removing whatever you've applied if you keep switching back and forth. If it were earlier in the game I would have said to use the Revive together with some Scratch and Swirl Remover, but it sounds like you are to the point that you are micro-finishing the surface. Make sure your applicator pads are clean! Simple Green does a great a job of helping to clean your pads/towels. I take it you are doing everything by hand--a Porter Cable sure helps, but it can be done! Once you get to the point where you are happy with your results you can use EITHER the Buttery Wax OR the Brilliant Glaze--the Glaze will give you that super deep gloss whereas the Wax will give you longer lasting protection. Using the Glaze over the Wax will tend to strip the wax, so I would use the Glaze for those "special moments" and the Wax for day-to-day protection.
I've found that the newer Super Wax (made for PC use) works OK for me, by hand, and I feel it lasts longer than the Buttery Wax. Whatever the case, you can do a terrific job with the products you have.

Like Seamus said, get yourself a Porter-Cable polisher. Use the orange Lake City pads with some light to medium compound, depending on how deep the swirl marks are. Set the speed to 4 - 5 and work in the compound until it is broke down. Next step use a Lake City white pad with a polishing compound to bring back the shine and then apply whatever wax you want over that.
Thanks guys. I feel a little stupid for wasting so much time putting on wax that I just have to take off again. Car really looks great right now. My wife thinks I continue to be nuts and also thinks her S4 should get a little attention. While things come to me slowly, once I've got it, I've got it. I'll look into the Porter Cable but in the mean time, I'll keep working the Revive until the swirls are gone or I quit breathing, which ever comes first.
