Ok, not quite, but she had quite a good run at it. This is pretty funny. Like they said, some folks in *Porsches* can't drive the 'ring in 10 minutes! Goes to show how much driver skill matters. I think she actually got two wheels off the ground in a few spots!
wow, that is a great video, she is hauling in that Van... It reminds me of a DE event instructor who has taken rental cars out with the beginner group to run down the slow guys in porsches...

Great video! Is that in Nurnberg, Germany? What does it cost to run that track?

I would have loved to see the faces of the guys driving the Porsche and the bikes when that van flew by.

Just when you think they can't get any stupider, they keep talking.
Yeah that's Sabine Schmidt. She has more laps on the ring than alomst anyone.
Apparently she drives the 'ring something like 1100 to 1200 times *per year*. All told she's up in the 10's of thousands of total laps, and has held track records in several types of vehicles. No wonder she thought she could drive a van and still beat Clarkson's time
That was about the coolest thing i think ive seen in a while. So where exactly is this track located? Has anyone on this site ever been to that track? God why cant we have something like that here in the states? Makes me wonder where was her helmet or any saftey gear for that matter??
