1st DYNO RESULTS!!! JUST PROGRAMING

There is a place near me called street and performance electronics. They make hand held programmers for trucks and cars. They wanted to dyno my car with just programing before the cam. here are some #s....I was disappointed with the stock #s 340 rwhp and 334 lbs of trq.
after changing a few things he got 345 rwhp and 348 lbs of trq. so nice difference, this is just the first run. he said he thinks he can get more later today.

I have halltech and SLP exhaust

I will keep you updated after the cam, springs and retainers.

Nice results...But I suspect you are still very rich. Ask him if he can do wideband on your car next time it is on the dyno. Leave your timing tables alone but shoot for a safe 12.8:1 A/F ratio.

BTW: Beautiful car, I have saved most of the pics you have posted.

You already have a air intake and a cat back and were at 340 to start? That sounds low to me, even running very rich.

You need to find out what he changed. My guess is leaned the curve somewhat, but still it has got to be rich by a long shot.

Niphilli is right you need a wideband to get an idea of what is going on here.

well with finally getting done, they raised the HP to 352 and trq to 351. I still have the air intake and exhaust on it so I expected higher. got actual #s if anyone is interested, one spot shows 18 rwhp difference.

Could just be a shy dyno, not sure.

Do you have a better graph of your final run with RPM shown on the bottom?

Do you see in the first graph you posted where the HP curve becomes very non-linear above 5,000 rpm? That should not be happening, it should not become non-linear until around 5500. Something was happening (probably the CPU dumping fuel).
