yankee0304 from this site made an agreement with me to ship a hood i purchased by his his outside of chicago and had dropped off. He fell off the map once then came back with a phone call and said he would have it out that week. I called fed ex to pick it up at his home, but he didn't have it wrapped nearly well enough. He then told me that he is giving up and is too overworked to put any time into shipping the hood. (I was compensating him for his time mind you)
He then after that phone call fell off the grid completely . I contacted a trucking company, which i worked out a deal with who is ready to pick up the hood from his house as soon as they can get though to him that its not locked in the garage. The shipping company is 40 min from his house, and will go over as soon as brendan responds to a phone call. I as well as the shipping guy have called numerous times and left numerous messages trying to get in contact with this guy.
Anyone live near downers grove IL or know this guy personally?
I just want to get the hood out of his hands so i can have it shipped. Thanks guys, this seemly easy process turned into a few month long ordeal! and i have a feeling he is just going to try and ignore me till i leave him alone and let him keep the hood.
You think some of the lads on LI are up for a little action?
The LI Crew is ready for action. Say the word and a friend of a friend, can make a call to a guy, who knows the guy that can get the man, who works for a buddy, who can solve the whole issue right away
Seriously, I hope it all works out. Wish we lived closer
That's jacked up....And here I think I am dropping the ball putting video together. Some people.....
ROAD TRIP is right!

Wrong company...don't own anything in Danville.
Thanks for the slander rob. I let you know on several occasions that I work second shift and have little time to deal with stuff during normal hours. The bottom line is I have no use for a hunk of crap hood that was pretty beat up when I got it.
Remember, I tried to do you a favor, and I tried my best to communicate, but sleep and work take priority over everything else.
And you also forgot to mention that I had e-mailed you and the like but I guess when people spin, they spin the facts to thier own cause, like you did.
i can post the emails i have from you, my last communication from you was september 8th i then went weeks calling you every few days leaving messages with no replies. It is not to hard to pick up the phone. Anyway I hired a moving company that is based near Chicago who went to your house and picked up the hood and delivered it. Problem is solved. the 2.5 month process of moving that hood 800 miles is finally over. I thank you for your time. But dont make it out that i am slandering you I simply stated the facts, i have email and phone records to prove it.

Bottom line is simply don't make statements that can be made out to be slanderous, i.e. assuming and publicly stating that I was trying to keep your hood. I won't disagree that I did a horses**t job of communicating.
