Anyone know how to hook up an ipod

hey guys, my friend took his car in to the dealer and they hook up his i pod for him, he has a m3, i was wondering if ther was anyway to do that with a Z06..he had to buy some wire for liek 150 bucks and it connected somewhere form inside his glove department.

The BMW's come preinstalled with some sort of adapter for an Ipod. I'm not sure if it is just an aux in or what, but that is just a bmw thing. You can buy adapters to hook up your ipod to your car or you can just use an FM modulator. A direct hookup will always give you the best sound, but the FM mods. aren't bad.

Fm Mods are a good way to go and are easy to install. My Sat radio is setop that way. You might hear a little hiss when the music is not playing though.

FM modulator is definitely the easier way to go, but for whatever reason it may be, the one for Sat. Radio sounds 100x better than normal modualtors.
