Thats a photoshop... right? I don't think any Super-Lux coupes can compare to the CL-Class. Bentley GT Coupe excluded of course. I'd like to see the M3 CSL over here, but thats not happening anytime soon. Maybe they could bring an M3 GTR.

Just a matter of opinion.

Nothing personal

Certainly not trying to start a war

I'm not a BMW hater

kgc, it's okay. I'm a BMW fan but the newer styled 5 and 7 are awful looking. They are less muscular and more artsy.

NO, NO, please tell me no. The early 90's 8 series was one of the most beautiful and sleekest BMW's ever designed. The new BMW styles are bad enough, but to come out with a new and rename it the 8-series again simply spits on the elegent beauty of the old 8-series. And it just rekindles my anger that BMW's chief engineer pulled the plug on the M8 project in the 90's, which held the engine the BMW later retuned and gave to McLaren for the F1.
I grew up hardcore BMW-lover. But now I feel like this company is trying to turn me away. Why, Why?

Rich air and clear skies,
Austin

I bought used in 95 a black 850il V12, a beautiful but heavy car.
These new BMWs are getting ugly, with the exception of the M3.
