Corvettes at Carlisle

I made my reservations for a hotel in Harrisburg PA. for the Corvettes at Carlisle event. (Aug.23-25) The hotels were all booked in Carlisle already. I went last year and was astounded by the number of Corvettes, all at one place. The show should be even better this year with the 50th celebration going on. Richard Petty and Reeves Callaway will be there, along with many of the Corvette's top brass. They are auctioning off the worlds most perfectly restored '53 Corvette and are having a special display of Corvettes from 1953-2003. Should be a great time! Are you going?

I've gone to 3-4 shows there in the past, and decided to pass on this year's event.

If you are a member of the C5 Registry, you can park on the hill with them. It is a great spot to see all the cars from!

Matter of fact, I met JC at Carlisle last year!

I plan to do a one day round trip on Saturday or Sunday. They tell me it's only 2 hours from my place. I'll be the short old dude in shorts and either a Z06 or Z06vette.com baseball cap with the cute GF. Say hi.
