I can swear by it now, after being a non-believer and watching all pf those stupid lizard commercials!!!
I REALLY DID SAVE O V E R $1700 on a 4-car policy and the additional benefits are AMAZING!!
The truely amazing feature is their mechanical breakdown coverage:
• 7/100 B U M P E R T O B UM P E R
• about $80 PER Y E A R FOR this coverage, per car
• $250 deductible on ALL REPAIRS, either by joe's tire shop, ECS, do it
yourself, where you buy the parts, submit the reciept, and a
check is cut within 48hrs. Think about it, a head cracks, replace
them with AFRs and pay $250 ;-) i wouldn't/couldn't lie like that.
• $50 deductible for windshield replacement !!!!!!
• other features... waiting for the packette to come.
Hope you have the same kind of enthusiasm if you need a claim paid. I was hit by a GEICO customer and it was a battle from day 1. Wound up having to get an attorney to sue them to resolve the issue. They wanted to settle for LESS than the actual medical bills I had paid. Their customer ran a stop sign so there was no issue about who was at fault.

had a stone flipped up into windshield on my Lincoln,.......went to auto glass place,......they called Geico.....(I have full glass coverage, no deductible)..3hrs later picked up car,......end of story ...........jimmy
GEICO was the only reason I could afford my Vette when I first got it. I was 23 at the time and their quote was 1/3 of the next lowest quote from the larger insurance companies. Still with them and my rates have continuously dropped over the years.

That's a little different. No carrier is gonna roll over when it comes to paying somebody else's claim. You were hit by a Geico CUSTOMER. Geico was not YOUR carrier. A bit different, I think.

Just don't ever get into a fender bender even if the accident wasn't your fault. They will drop you like a hot potato or change your insurance to "High Risk". I should know, it happened to me.... I haven't even been in an accident since I was 16 (I'm almost 30 now).

(I am no longer a Geico customer)
That's the story I hear over and over again. Many people have been dropped in some cases over a single minor traffic infraction. Try to get insurance after being dropped. Nobody will touch you and they are not interested in the simple explanation of only one ticket in x number of years.
I haven't and will not have any personal experience with Geico. I've learned from friends' nightmares with them.
Liberty Mutual beat Geico for me. Just wait until you need them and see if they work for you.
Yep, I agree. I pay some fairly steep insurance here in NJ (well, I do have 2 teenage boys on my policy :o: ) but Liberty Mutual has always been extremely responsive when ever I needed them.
for the most part, one accident will not cause your policy to be cancelled. If you are just starting out with the company and you have an at fault accident, some companies can drop you within the first 60 to 90 days. Also, it depends on the over activity on the policy as well. Like how many tickets do you have, how many accidents you've had regardless of fault. I've been with GEICO for almost 2 years now and that's what I've seen that policies that have been cancelled. Keep in mind also that the number of claims doesn't have to be with that company
Very interesting Here in Indiana The lizard was twice the price when I checked them against my progressive policy.Plus after 2yrs. without a claim and paying on time, the following year they gave me a 20% discount One more thing last I heard were donating radar guns to our police dept. Hummmm-who wins if you get a ticket
