Hate to have to crush it!!!!
Basically a good deed blew up in my face. I lent my 96' Saab 900SE to a friend who was in need of a car. I have owned it for two years and i never had to fix anything on it. Last week the car overheated and it blew a head gasket. It will cost about $1800 to fix. The car is in excellent shape both inside and out, but at best it's only worth $3000. I don't have a place to keep it because I am moving into a studio apartment, but I don't want to have it crushed either. Should I try to sell it as a parts car on Ebay, donate it, have a junkyard take it. What would you guys do? My friend said I could keep it at his house for awhile but I don't want to impose on him. I was lucky enough to be given another daily beater before this happened. How about some kind of crazy swap, and turn it into a sleeper(lol). Any suggestions will help.
