My buddy owns a 2003 Viper. He has been JH's "guinea pig" for his new Gen III Viper package. The car was recent tested for Car and Driver and yesterday was tested for Motor Trend. Before anyone flames me as some king of "JH Cheerleader" let me explain that I am not. But, I thought some folks might be interested in what the new Gen IIIs are capable of.

The car has a stock crank that has been offset ground. The plan was originally to put in a stroker crank, but delivery times on these are so long it was felt that it might never get done. So, the stock crank was offset ground instead. This increased displacement from 505 to 522.
Below is the dyno graph of the car. Stock Dyno vs Upgraded Dyno
There still may be some power that is yet to be found, as it is still running the stock program in the computer. One of the interesting things is that power with H7C was 574RWHP, and with the stroker kit it went to 587RWHP. But, the torque curve got a lot fatter.
