Just had to do something special on my 427th post since I am such a big fan of the old 427 big blocks! Of course my post count will be different on the left after my next post. Too bad we can't have a serial number on each of our posts for special moments like this. What about it, JC?
My first Corvette purchased for 3Gs in 1970, a '66 Big Block.
And it was loaded, knockoffs, gold striped goodyears, side pipes
teak steering wheel, telescoping steering column, headrest seats, power windows and antenna, AC.
I guess you can tell I miss that car.
Ya'll see the article on the NEW ZL1's becoming available again..............
Engines........improved drivable versions.........10.2 CR, I think turn key, was $20k.................
At you newstands, and 7-11's NOW!!!!!!!!!1.
FRC Tom: That's a beauty! I have a '66 427/450
red/red leather sidepipe 4.11 two top convertible, and I
love it. I call it "The Beast". I think it would pull my
Viper coupe up til redline.
ZL1: I bought an Exoto Grand Sport model on eBay from a guy in NY and he claimed that there were 4 or 5 ZL1's, cause he and a
buddy each bought one new. He said his was stolen. Wonder if there really more than 2?
FiveOJoe: I think you should do something special for your 502nd post!
Baron: Thanks! Guess I'll be a pilot soon!
Don, I sure would love to have a 427 in my Z. Having
Lingenfelter bore and stroke my Z out to 427 would be cool.
Maybe someday.
Z06LS6: What mag is the article about the new ZL-1's in? Who
makes them?
to all the 427's! Long may they rule!
I was in the Boulder area for the last few days. Did I miss anything?
