New To My Collection

You guys have no idea how long I have been looking for this car. Very limited. Funny, I have asked my well known diecast guys and they have never seen this car. Last time I saw one was 2 years ago...this time I bought it! The Dale Earnhardt Platinum Edition 1:18th C5-R......hope you like....

I have the same model and I'm afraid to remove it from the box.

I didn't realize this car was 2 years old.

Did you by chance pick up the 24K plated model as well, it doesn't look as good as the platinum, but I you can't have one without the other.

Thanks for replying to the PM.

Now thats a very low price for that model, I think it will sell but for a couple of hundred more, if not I am going to feel like I got ripped.

Does anyone have an idea of where I can pick up the Texas C5R, I can't find them anywhere Thats the last one for me and I will be done until they release the new models.

I just wish they stopped making diecast models, this stopped being a hobby long time ago.

CC,

Yep thats the one, all yellow with the black and white over the hood flowing similar to a flag. That case look superb, is that a giovanni? I love when you guys post pics of your collection, it gives me some great ideas. Keep up the great work.

70Boss,

These models will transform an ordinary cabinet into something special, I picked up three encased cabinets with glass doors from Sam's they were on sell at the time, I need to put them together sometime, just been to lazy to do so. They look plain as hell, but I'm sure the addition of some models will make them look that much better.

As for the wifey, your on your own there buddy
