Hello everyone! I just registered on this board a few days ago. I bought a black/black 2004 ZO6 about 4 weeks ago and I've been having a blast driving it! I've never had a car that was so much fun to drive!

I may not post much but I've been lurking and learning.

WayneE, the 58 is mostly driven on the street. I like to take it to local cruise spots and outdoor car shows. It has a stock bore and stroke 454ci LS-7 crate motor in it now. I have a somewhat more streetable aluminum block 572ci motor waiting to go in the car someday that should make it quicker with better street manners. The 572ci motor made 794 horsepower at the crank on pump gas and is over 100lbs lighter.

With the current 454ci motor it runs 10.70s in street trim and it will get a little air under the fronts on the street. I have yet to make a dragstrip pass with the newly installed nitrous kit, but I'm expecting somewhere deep in the 9s with a 250 shot on the 454.

I'm really loving the ZO6 just like it is right now.

I'm not real sure what I can get away with as far as the warranty goes. I already got rid of CAGS because it made me crazy. Somewhere down the road I wouldn't mind installing some sort of aftermarket fresh air intake, possibly some long tube headers and maybe some Nitto RIIs. But for now I'm just going to enjoy it the way they made it.

I haven't quite gotten it broke in yet but I have 450 miles on it, so I'm getting close. So far I really love it! I think it's the most fun car I've ever driven! Some of you folks are probably use to these cars, but for a newbie it's like a free pass to Disneyland every time I get in the car.

(Frankly I don't see how any of you still have your drivers license.)
