Now I know how you men feel

I just bought the Corsa Race exhaust

I go tell my hubby (McRat) and he :bang:

Now I know how most of you men feel when you tell your wives about Mods you bought:eyes:

The Z06 exhaust is actually pretty good, I don't think it will help your times very much, just sound louder/better (depending on your opinion of it).

Good luck!

My wife's usual comments are :

1. I thought you liked the car the way it was, otherwise why did you buy it?

2. Is this going to make it:

A. Louder
B. Faster
C. All of the Above

3. What was wrong with the original parts?

4. Is this ever going to stop?

Now I have parts delivered to the office

Les

My husband is ONLY aggravated because I am competing with the GN and the Camaro for parts...hehehehe

AND....its not like he never drives MY car, he ran a best ever 12.6 on Sat with the car.........

I am suprised you just didnt get long tube headers to go with the exhaust Kathy, come on, they take credit cards....go for the 11 second slip...

He knows it all in good fun. He tells people I buy 95% of the mods and people don't believe him. Truth be told with this Mod I probally just put him in the 11's I will have to work on my shifting more:(

We bought the car because racing is something we can do together. Hopefully in a couple of years we can be in the same position as you and your hubby and have two

My better (?) half doesn't when I buy something for my car anymore - I am the one who is surprised. When I bought it I was going to leave it strickly stock. Then I bought chrome wheels before the car was even delivered and that started it! Every time I buy another mod I say, "This is it, I'm not going to buy anything else", but then something else catches my eye and before you know it, the brown truck pulls in the driveway! I admit that I am very lucky that he does help me (mostly I really help him) install the stuff I get. Other guys in the club have installed or modded stuff for me too so I am very grateful to all of them. I'm kinda like you, Momma, I let him race it so he likes it when I make it go faster. He could race his own, but he likes mine better! Can't argue with that!!! Now let's see......one more mod and I'll be all done.
