This is very sad, especially for those of us in Arizona who have enjoyed watching Pat's excellence on the gridiron for ASU and then the Cardinals. A true hero who put service to his country over riches.

This man is the epitome of what it should mean to be an American.

He had it made for the rest of his life, but he gave it all up to do what he thought was right. May peace be with his family.

Just a thanks to Mr. Tillman and his family as well as to all that serve in Afganistan, Iraq and other places where they are needed. Even a couple of members or their families here on this forum are serving.

My heart goes out to the Tillman family ! I watched him in the NFL ! I also served in the Vietnam CONFLICT as it was not considered a war with the 75th Infantry Ranger batallion ! Its really going to be hard on his brother serving in the same regiment !

This guy had more than bravery. People these days cherish their money, but he put his love for his country ahead of that. He has his priorities straight.
God bless him and people like him.
