Ok, so it's not a villa on the beach, but its still a nice "home away from home". This is my "apartment" I was sent to check out through housing. Turned out, it was actually a house in an upscale neighborhood. You should see the neighbors house! Hey Gary, I got you some banner pics! Deb, Ever hear the term, "STOOP NIGHT"? Cheers!

Man Glenn things have changed in the service. My tax dollars at work. Are you a General or something? Looking very nice. What a place.
D.J.
With any luck, I will be a Sergeant Major in the next few weeks! Board convened from 1 June through 27 June. Results get posted around 15 July. (I hope) We'll see!
My house is 138 meters on ground floor (about 1400 sq ft) and teh basement or bottom floor is also finished as well but I have no use for it at the moment.....The front yard is twice the size of my house and back yard is three times the size. In Germany, that's alot of land. YOu would FREAK if you knew what your tax dollars was paying me for rent! Let's just say, a normal mortage x 2, plus a new Z payment? Its THAt expensive! Well, that's my take anyways.....Too bad I wasn't stationed in the Bahamas!

Man that would be outstanding if you make it. Here's wishing you good luck.
Great house Glenn! And good luck on the promotion. My last deployment I was with the Army and there aren't too many SGMs that are as cool as you! Most of them were pretty big hard asses.

Looks like a great place Glenn. Glad to see you finally got some banner shots. Best of luck on the promotion.
I happy I don't have to wait for promotion results anymore.
Never could stand the anticipation.

Thanks all. Yes, I was lonely on my stoop and I propped up my camera on the trunk of teh GR8 WHITE. That was right after I got all my furniture in place and took a moment to relax. As far as shoveling snow.....I think I might be talke dinto a hoop-de for teh winter time.....As for the promotion.....Well, its very competitive to make SGM so even if I make the selection for Sergeant's major Academy, i am right on track. Most school attendees get promoted prior to graduating anyways. I guess, that a guarantee that you make it through the course! Just a few days left. We'll see.....
