1986 Yamaha FJ1200.

Jetted carbs, supertrapps, corbin seat.

Since I bought the Z the FJ has been relegated to collecting dust.

The only thing just about as nice as my Z06, is my Son's new RC51. I use to be a Honda rider myself - had about a dozen of Big Red's 4 stroke bikes over the years, including an original CB750, and even the first six shooter that made over 100bhp, a 1979 CBX (also, another one of Halltech's favorite toys).

My current ride is a big Kawi ZX-12R. With 180bhp at the crank it is an awesome high performance sporting machine. A recent mag test clocked the 02 model in the quarter at 9.9 secs flat right off the showroom floor. I could have bought four such bikes and a nifty full face helmet and riding suit for the price of my Z06.

I had two until I bought my Z. A 1999 ZRX 1100 with ohlin shocks and
138 rwhp I used it for track days and a 2001 RC51 it was for wheelies.

I have a 2000 Suzuki Bandit 1200. It has 900 miles on it. If I sell it I get to keep my 95 LT1 and my 2002 Z06. $5,000.00 for the bike. I made a deal with my wife.

A Silver and Black 2001 Honda CBR 600 F4i. It too has been collecting a lot of dust since I picked up the Z. Nevertheless, it is a great bike, and lots of fun to ride.

PS: had an FJ 1100 & an 1100F at the same time, just before I got the H-D. Both were nice & fast (the Honda was NEVER NOT doing a wheelie when I took off:cool: )

Silver Ghost, I also have a 2001 F4i. Mine is the red and black. I'm thinking about trading it for the 2002 RC51.

I just went and looked at the new 954 RR. They have it in the silver/black combo. I have been seriously tossing around that idea, especially with summer just around the corner. It would either be that or the RC51. Just can't bring myself to pay the $14K plus for a Duc.

Just ordered my Z. Own a yellow 2000 Ducati 996 mono posto with carbon Fiber racing exhaust and chip set. It is one bad cafe racer! Unbelievable torque and a no compromise race bike.
