It is nice to see the anti-car-theft Task Force that the show is highlighting. These guys can be described as forensic car theft detectives.

Sure wish when I had a new sportbike stolen 6 years ago that the local P.D. had given ANY effort to following up on it. Of course, it was 90% likely to have been in a chop shop a few hours after being stolen, and I made out as far as insurance settlement went. Replaced the bike (CBR600) with a bigger one; a CBR900RR with no out of pocket. Thinking about it like that, I'm glad I never got the old one back!

i was stationed out in utah the year that clown strapped a jato bottle to his car. the popo thought it was a plane crash it was so destroyed. when they found out what had happened they started finding all sorts of interesting shit. brakes fused to rotors...etc
