Tool Question: Does this look like a good tool set?

Sears is going to have this tool set on sale the day after Thanksgiving (Black Friday Sale) for $150 (reg. $300). I was wondering if it was a good deal for this set?

I have some tools, but I have far from a complete set and half of the time that I work on my car, I seem to spend looking for or tracking down the correct tool.

Looks a deal to me. I was at Sears last night and blowed 40 dollars on some sockets and extensions. I'll be there Friday to check out their sell.

Or.. You can have a look now before the flyers come out.

Compilation of Black Friday Sales links.

I like to find what I'm looking for, buy it ahead of time and then waltz in the store Friday afternoon and get a price adjustment. "Hey Mr/Mrs. Sales person.. I just bought this earlier this week and I noticed that you have it on sale today.. Can you adjust the price for me?" They always do.

BTW.. I'm guessing that I need one of those professional multi tier tool boxes to put all these tools in? They have two sets for sale. One is regularly $640 for the 3 tiers and is going to be on sale for $400 and the other one is usually $520 and is going to be on sale for $280.

SKU numbers for the $640 chest that will be on sale for $400. 59708/59709/59710

SKU numbers for the $520 chest that will be on sale for $280

Craftsman tool sets on sale are always a good deal. Thanks. I'm headed down there myself next week.

Yes...a good deal. Of course the best thing is the Craftsman replacement policy.

Aldrich: What are the SKU numbers on that tool chest that you bought? It looks similar to the one on sale for $280 (reg. $520), but I'm sure that they have several sets to choose from.

I figure that unless I do this for a profession and need the tools every day, I don't need Snap On. The Craftsman are great simply because of their lifetime replacement policy.
