Trackday 7/24 at Thunderhill only $165

I signed up for a trackday at Thunderhill on Monday 24 July. It is being put on by Golden Gate Lotus Club. $165, or $170 with a years membership which gets you $20 off other trackdays(that's what I'm doing). Here's the really good part, 2 groups, and you are allowed to run either group after the first session(if I recall the rules on their site). So you can basically drive all day for $165. Fast guys remember to follow the passing rules for the slow group. Slow guys probably won't want to run with the fast group unless you have your confidence and speed up.

It's hot at Thunderhill in July. I did a motorcycle day there a few years ago and it was 105 degrees - Celsius(just kidding but it felt like it), "but it's a dry heat."

Any Northern CA guys interested, go to their site, click trackdays, follow the links to motorsportreg .com, sign up.

If you're going PM me, all the Corvette dudes can meet up at the hotel the night before, or at the track during the event.

If anyone has some rear Speedlines they want to sell, let me know. I need a set for some stickier tires for the track.

Latest update is they will be running the track clockwise(backwards). Still looking for more vette people. Anyone, anyone, Buehler, Buehler?

Turn 9 should be interesting, a big hill at the end of a long straight, followed by a sharp turn.
