I am thinking about selling my Navigator this fall/winter. And getting a TBSS. Does anybody here have one? AWD or RWD?I
checked some prices out looks like mid 30's for the rwd, and roughly 40 for the AWD. I like the idea of getting better gas mileage then I do now. I am also like the idea of the 6.0 as the engine. The only thing that I don't like is no third row to keep the 3 kids sperated. I guess they will have to get along better if we lose the 3rd row seating.
I think it was Car and Driver that testing the SS against the RT Cherokee and they liked the SS better. I have no personal experience with the car, but I like the looks.
I work for a Chevy/Jeep Dealer in Silver Spring.. I get to drive both form time to time.. The SS is a nice SUV.. Inside is nice and looks great outside.
The SRT-8 is also very nice, mean looking center dual pipes and lower graphics make it look good.. Only difference I see in them is the Jeep is very heavy vs the TB SS
Both have plenty of power..
Not sure you would lose anything going either way.

Good luck with the change....couldn't imagine not having three rows, but then again, we have so many kids 3 rows are required...or we will have to get a bus! (Note to Dad...Do not get any ideas from this!)
now swap out the convertor for a 6 cylinder trailblazer convertor, k&n drop in filter and reprogram the computer to take out the torque management and 13.15 at 103.....
those friggin trucks fly. The owner of my local speedshop just bought one for his son.....told me yesterday he had it up to 140 and it was still pulling. Son was already running his mouth so when are we racing (my tahoe not the vette) I didn't think that 4800 lb truck would do what my 5800 lb truck does with a 502 2500 stall and 4.10's stock.......yes I have a 200-250 hit of nitrous on tap but jesus that truck is damn quick for stock...its as fast as an A4 5.7 GTO stock for stock.

okay well that was the first stage, at least the one I'll talk about..
I am leaning towards TB only because they can still tow 6,700lbs.
Jeep can't do mroe than 3,500
Now if Jeep could tow 7,000 also I would go Jeep as they should be in business a little longer plus from the start it is already a good bit quicker (like 1/2 seconds and 5 mph in the qtr).
