Two Ferraris...One Day

I went back to my home town in Ohio, which happens to be an old steel town, and I came across two Ferraris in the same day !!!

One guy rolls up beside me in a red 308 and gives me a dirty smirk. I let him go due to the 25 MPH speed limit thru town:-)

Then I ran into a 328. Are these cars fast????

I have no idea.

Regards,
John

In a word, no. They are not fast compared to todays cars and no match for the Z at all.

Do a Google search and you'll find a lot of info including horsepower and other specs including 0-60, 1/4 mile, top speed, etc.

The 308 No, the 328 is respectable, but not up to the Z06. To bad you didn't get a chance to find out first hand

Well they certainly look nice. You could only imagine my surprise driving through town having these cars roll up on me:-) I was seriously shocked. The town I grew up in isn't exactly a booming town. Ha ha ha.

Regards,
JC

THE two cars are performance pigs but still handmade and cool!!
a guy in california used to install custom turbos on older ferraris to get their performance up, but I can't remember his name.

I don't know if this is the same guy but Bob Norwood used to turbocharge Ferrari's, and made some wicked power too.

And no it's not a fast car (quick for it's time) but sure does look good going slow.

that's the man, Bob Norwood!!! good call. he would run high pressure turbos through those prancing horses and did make some serious performance gains!!

I had one on the way back from the FEST. Spanked him twice. Don't know what model it was, but it sure was pretty. Z06 Passenger got a pic of it when he first jetted away in front of me (he wasn't in front for long..). Maybe you can identify the model. There is a pic of it on that thread below. It was pretty new and had HID lighting.

Yes that is a 360. Those are some quick cars, just a little slower then a Z06 and about $120,000 more
