Van Halen & Ford GT

Today's paper reports that Sammy Hager & Michael Anthony of Van Halen each took delivery of a Ford GT while in Detroit for a concert. $140,000 each.

Interesting sidebar: The Ford GT plant is approximately 2 miles directly South of GM's Performance Build Center, and just South of that is Pratt & Miller.

They got the cars for $140k and Ford got 10x that in free advertising. If one of us actually took delivery, there would be a collective "yawwwwwnnnn" from the media... :mad:
