Vette vs Viper owner experience

I've read the magazine's and seen the video's, which is a better car hands down between a 02-04 C5 Z06, and the last generation GTS Viper? Also a new C6 Z06 and Viper SRT10.
I'm looking for real owners experience, drivers and track cars.
Problems, reliabilty problems, everything.

I know there has been a few people here that have owned both cars.

The following is MY OWN OPINION
I have owned both.

The Viper is raw. Not big on comfort and convienence.
ABS 01 and up
No traction control or active handling
GEN1 and GEN2 no cruise
GEN1 no power windows
Not really a good daily driver
Torque can bite you.... bad (as many new owners have found out)

Although the V10 is pretty much bullit proof, there is one hell of a ViperTax on all parts factory and aftermarket.

Aluminum side sills - $6,100 EACH
Hood - $18-20k

Gen2 Viper and Gen5 Z-06 - stock....boils down to the driver

Just like with a Z-06 for track you need better tires (DR for the strip) shocks, etc to be competative
