We are giving our entire Tax Refund to the New York Firefighter/Police Relief fund

Aliens have attacked the world! I still cannot believe what has happened. These aliens were not human, but from another world

Since the tax refund check is a wind-fall, Debbie and I are going to send it to the New York Fire and Police Relief Fund.

I do not have the address or particulars, but I will call tomorrow to find out and post it here. If anyone can get this information, please post it here.

Anyone else? I know this is a lot of money. I have seven children, two step-children (Debbie's kids), eight grandchildren, and 3 step-grandchildren, so funds like the $600 coming this month could come in handy for my family, but they don't need it. The surviving wives and children of New York's finest do!

My refund is going were it belongs. Let's all pitch in.

God Bless America

Jim and Debbie Hall

BTW My wife is still stranded in NY.....this is really not happening.

I have offered my services.....

As many of you know I own a medical staffing company--I currently have several techs working in the NY Metro area before this tragedy occurred. When I heard of what was happening---at about 8AM Tuesday, an employee walks in telling me that a plane hit a tower in NYC. I thought it was like when that dumbass got hung up on the Statue of Liberty while wearing a fan and parachute last month.

I suddenly realized it was no joking matter. The rest of my coworkers went to work oblivious to the news. I asked my brother to go get a TV and bring it into the office and we all watched and tried to see what we could online---every news channel on the internet was clogged.

After 3 hours-----and being totally numb--I asked for everyone to go home and we shut down. We were all VERY upset (some employees have relatives that are brokers on Wall ST)---

The following day--1/2 of the staff called in--not to fake a sickness---but to tell me they would be worthless at work----those that did show looked terrible--they, like my wife and I, stayed up most the night ---laying in bed, holding hands and praying that this was not really happening.

The next day---about 25% of our radiology techs that are all across the nation called in and wanted to know if they could go to the NY area. I explained to them that this would not pay $28/hr. None of them wanted any pay, they just wanted to help---so I decided that TechStat would pay for the travel and lodging for any technologist that is willing to donate thier skills.

Sadly, I found out today that none of the facilities in the area can take on any more medical volunteers----they are inundated with medical staff--not including the USS Comfort offshore that is a huge Navy floating hospital.

I was told by 2 directors of Radiology at two different facilities that what they will need is coroners, forensic scientists, and individuals from the CDC; they are afraid that decaying victims might cause an infectious outbreak. The radiology departments in local hospitals are beginning to recieve dental records from families in hope of a positve I.D.

Morticians are also preparing for an onslaught of business unfortunately--I hate the sound of what I am saying but this country has never experienced anything like this.

The hospital staff has come to the sad realization that all the donated blood is a great thing--but it will not be able to be utilized fully in NYC.

As a veteran and proud American, I pray for the families that are affected by this. I am flying my flag everyday & I hope that all of you are also.

Sorry for rambling--but I personally needed to vent.

My wife and I just sent a donation as well. She handles community relations for her company and is working with others to raise funds to support all of the tireless efforts of people in New York and the surrounding areas.
