We've Lost A Friend
It's with great sadness that I inform you we've all lost a great man.
Frank Genova (aka another yellow) passed away suddenly while playing tennis, a passion he shared along with his love of Corvettes and the brotherhood.
Frank has been a personal friend of mine for years. He and I recently discussed what our next Corvette will be, and made plans to get together at the NCM Birthday Bash next April.
From time to time, I'd post info from Frank (with his permission) regarding upcoming Corvette details....because he was so "connected," and trustworthy.
He's the kind of guy that you make friends with first time you talk to him. The kind of guy you invite over anytime. The kind of guy you hand your Corvette keys to and know he'd not abuse it. The kind of guy that comes along only several times in your liftetime.
Our standard phone calls always started like this "Frank, it's Tony from Detroit." Franks goes "Frank, from New York."
He lived in Yorktown Heights, NY and is survived by his dear wife Donna, and daughter.
There will be a special remembrance in honor of Frank's life during the NCM Birthday Bash in April.
Whoa....Sorry to hear such sad news Zippy. A los sof a friend or or loved one is never an easy thing. My thoughts and prayers go out to you and his family.

Very sad indeed...and Frank just retired on the previous Friday. I understand he was playing tennis when his heart let go. The testimonials tell me he was a great guy...my loss not to have known him.
