You should be able to get very close to invoice, plus whatever rebates/financing are available. I bought mine in December and paid a couple $100 over invoice, plus I got 0%
And the obligatory pic -
I love the truck. Since Dec. 15th I've put 15000 miles on it I tow an 18' Brimar trailer/Firebird with it. Tows great, good power and brakes.
Save your money! You got a company truck to haul your car. Your wife drives a sweet 540i. Set up your shop with a lift! Just my opinion. YES, I know what opinions are like.

He gotcha there Mike!
Get the H2 and be done with it . Oh, that is right, it is pretty bulky if it is her daily driver.
Not sure if my buddy down in Austin has anything like this, but if he does I am sure we can get it for invoice.
I've gotten a price of $44k for a $56k sticker on a Denali XL. Add $3k if I want the 60 months at 0%. Looking pretty tempting. The wife loves the truck. We'll see.
We bought one of the first XL Denalis in 2001 & it has been excellent. The only issue I've had is with the parking brake adjustment. If you don't use the parking brake regularly you'll likely have a problem with it not holding well. The small inner drum-style brake inside the rear disc rotor needs to be used to adjust itself. Other than that, no problem at all. Since my wife drives it most often, & rarely uses the parking brake I just set it any time I go by the truck. It's strange to me because she knows to set the brake on her 6-speed Miata, & never fails to. Go figure. Anyway back to the issue, the Denali has been superb. I ordered the Denali XL as soon as they were able to & traded a 2000 MY C5 Coupe in so I can't help you much on what to expect to pay.

Hey Mike,
the wife loves the truck, get it. I made the mistake once of getting my wife what I wanted. Never heard the end of it.
What color is it? It has to go with a Red car and a white trailer...

Brett,
Her choice in colors are great.
#1 white
#2 black
#3 red
My prefernce is white also (not that it should matter though right?).
We had the XL for the last day and she traded for the non-XL today for another day of test driving. She quickly appreciated the extra room the XL had to offer. Strangely enough, she had absolutely no complaint about parking the XL. We probably put over 300 miles combined on the two trucks. Very nice vehicles.
I can't say enough about the quality of ride or the torque from the 6.0 engine. I saw an average MPG today on the highway for ~50 of almost 17. Seems like we barley got that in our Durango years ago with the 5.9 and it was not AWD but part-time 4WD.
Church,
I hear you on the price. The General is making a killing on the truck and SUV market. I figued that $4k over a Toyota Sienna not to have to own and drive one was a deal though.

The white is nice for us, since the truck sits a lot and it always looks clean

I feel the same way. I sold my '96 Suburban 1500 w/255hp 5.7L Vortec V8 to get the Yukon Denali XL. The suspension, 17" wheels and 6.0L V8 all make the Denali feel like a sport-truck compared to my old truck. Towing is a whole other world. The 6.0L has sooooo much more HP/TQ, I don't even notice my trailer back there. The one thing I don't like is that they put smaller fuel tanks in the newer trucks. My Suburban had a 42 gallon tank.
Another bonus was the XM radio. They offered a 90 day trial and it sold me on it. I am now a subscriber. Too bad they didn't offer it in the Z06.
2 weeks after we got the truck, we took a trip from DC to Tampa, FL. The truck was great for the long trip. Fuel economy isn't stellar, but I didn't buy it for that reason
Make em sweat it. Take it back in and tell them you will think about it. They should come down another $500-$1000. IMHO
My intention exactly. We don't need to make this purchase. In fact, I was thinking that we might even wait on an '04. Or maybe not, if the deal is right.
