Hahahaha.....I am almost embarrassed to say. I worked in a factory for summer money when I was 17, and I called it the "Clunk" job. This job was so thankless and PATHETIC, that I was falling asleep doing the job of adjusting these metal things to thousands of an inch....In the process, I fell asleep and still was working (like a programmed robot) and stepped on the pedal to straighten this metal piece. Well, with NO METAL in between the machinery, it makes a VERY DISTINCT sound that woke my azz up. I looked around REAL QUICK to see if anyone aw me sleeping on the job and I see the Boss taking off his glasses from acros sthe room to look in my direction. His trained bionic ears had heard my machine mak ethe wrong "working" sound and then the Boss came over and lectured me about not needing to see everything, but HEARING everything and says with a THICK German accent...."You missed vun.....I no have to see evryting I hear evryting"....Hahahahaha.....

Freezer storage

Working in freezer storage. I had to wear a full freezer suit, gloves, boots..loading frozen fruit bars onto pallets for delivery. Each pallet held, I believe, 40 boxes. Ea box was roughly 60lbs. I worked w/ 1 other guy loading pallets and pulling orders. We'd load 2-2 1/2 trailers a day. Depending on the trailer, we'd load around 40 pallets per trailer...doing the math, thats humpin' a bunch of weight.

I was in high school and I'd be so tired after a day that I'd be asleep by 8.30....Hafta look out for ice and stupid-azz lift drivers...sucked big time.

Official Shit Burner

I rolled my tractor / tanker rig with about 8000 gals of JP-4 trying to avoid an accident and while my tractor was binging fixed I was the shit burner. This included cleaning the heads then dragged these 55 Gal barrels that had been cut in half to hold the shit, piss and TP.

These barrels need to be dragged out daily to about 30 ft from the head and diesel fuel was used to burn the shit. I use to add some JP-4 and more of it would burn up. After several days there was always to burnt residue that needed to be buried in the sand. The JP-4 would take care of most of that-just don't get caught using it.
