Looks like a bad picture, maybe taken with a cell phone. But if you're looking to buy it, request a better picture from the seller.

Then again, maybe somebody’s wife, wanting revenge on her cheating husband, decides to sell his mint condition viper at one third of its actual value.

I think that is a reflection of a tree branch. Notice it goes from the paint to the window and is seamless.
