First time in almost 23 yrs of driving I ran out of gas in my mini-van My van died on the Freeway but, I was lucky enough to be able to coast off the next exit and park safely.
But both gas stations I walked to did not sell gas cans. A nice older lady happened to have one in her car and let me borrow it
I guess the Z aren't the only one's to have faulty gages.
I guess from now I will pay better attention to my miles driven
It must be a California thing. Every gas station in Colorado sells them. They make a killing off of people that run out of gas. Charge you 5 times what the can is worth and offer to take you to your car for $20.

I don't know about ya'll but I hate puttin' too much fuel in at a time think or hoping the price might come back down. It's especially bad in the big truck, $200 to 300 and I don't even get full tanks!

Then again, if we go to war and win those oil wells.......
I guess we can only hope to see premium listed for .27/gal again.

Used to be able to fill the SS Nova for about $5.00, now I try not to get below 3/4 tank before I top it off.
