The recent road and track article that pitted the zo6 against some less than equal competition sparked this idea in my head.
When is one of the major car mags gonna have the shootout everyone wants to see? I mean the big mean cars going at it. Id like to see the top cars on everyones list go at it. Not these "oh that would be nice to have cars" like the 350z. People want vettes, cobras(maybe..), vipers(i dont know why), lambos... etc.
Id really like to see a zo6, viper, cobra, 911 turbo, F 360, maybe even a murcialago go at it. I think they should have a full out performance test, not just straight line acceleration but road course times too. Id like to see when its all said and done, the picks of the best performing cars... then of course the best overall cars. It seems like too many mags use the prices to determine winners. A lot of times i agree with it, but i also like to see a straight performance choice.
I was also thinking they should push these cars hard for a few days and see how they hold up too.
I mean tell me guys.. are these bad ideas?? It seems like this would cover alot of stuff we discuss on here and in private. I think that would help show the world how great the z really is when its pitted against he best
