Not too likely - I believe the death toll for the Tsunami was well over 100,000 people, with many millions of others effected by it. $1M per person killed would be $1x10^11 dollars - that's roughly the entire GDP of the united states for a decade, or the GDP of the whole world for about 2 years.
The Tsunami disaster was on a whole different scale, at least as far as deaths and the sheer number of people impacted by the event.
