I am flying out to Indy this coming Friday, for the race. Some of my buddies and I are going to fool around until things get started, but I am planning on being at all the events.
I thought it would be fun to meet up with some of the brethren, maybe at the pit walk on Thursday.
I went to the Long Beach Grand Prix every year it was a Grand Prix and the Las Vegas Grand Prix as well. Flew to France and saw one at Paul Richard in the mid-80s.
I'd love to get back to one but my schedule just hasn't worked out.
It is amazing how many people bring their kids to the track without them. The kids are screaming from the noise. We always have a big jar of ear plugs, so we hand out ear plugs to the kids. The idiot parents can do without.
