I have no opinion I have a 2000 coupe.
I think these are low. The 0% financing has killed wholesale prices.

I think if we could get the prices posted on the Z's..........we would all be a LOT happier than what most folks are getting/giving..............

According to R Daniels @ Maxie Price, they can't SELL them for those #s, much less give that to a trade in customer...........

For a '01 Z, with low miles ( under 2-3k), I think trade in should be around 42k...............

But, what I think, and reality is always, somehow askew.......

Not to be mean, or vendictive......but, there are a couple of dealers around my area........that I hope they get THEIR's...........
starting......... Monday A.M.................

These are the guy's that have "Market Adjusted", and in all reality TOOK the customers LOW, or NO finance rate.....and screwed them to the wall........

What the Gen meant for GOOD, these Pricks put in their pocket.........

And before the bonfire starts, (I have only a few dealers in mind), AND I realize, that as an adult..........YOU & I have the right to go elsewhere, and not get screwed............

But, this my Opinion, everyone has one, and they ALL STINK...........

BTW, if you are reading these rates for value out of a Blue book, FORGET it........you won't get within 5% of those #'s at any dealer I know of....................

Sell to an individual if you want a halfway decent value..........

Those are from the latest blackbook and that is what most dealers use here in the South. Manheim report gives a range 36400-37400-38500 with 5000 miles. Now that is low.

Not too many dealers are going to be keen on talking trades until April. It would be a good time to buy until then, and then again around June when they're clearing out the model year.

As Rick so eloquently noted in another post, the consumers are the ones that set the prices. If we won't do a deal for that kind of money then prices will hold. I'm continually surprised (amazed, envious?) at the number of guys that took $8000 kits for 20 more ponies trading in the 01's.

Those dealers wouldn't be asking $5K over sticker if there weren't people that walked in and grabbed their ankles. I cannot understand why anyone would pay that knowing that the dealer is pocketing $8000 in profit if sold at MSRP. Those that waited for the lots to empty got to purchase at or near invoice.

Seems like members of all these forums could set our own prices if we could get people to stick with the recommended values. Tell Black Book to take a hike!
