I had friend told me that there is a spray, chemical, something...that you put engine parts that can detect if nitrous has been used on the car. Does such a thing exist or and I just

I've never heard of it and I don't see how. All it is is extra (cold) oxygen that allows you to burn more fuel. It isn't something that would leave a residue that would be detectable. Sounds like something a dealer or insurance or warranty company would say.
