Worlds Fastest, Tallest Roller Coaster! 120mph!
Cedar Point announced it is building the world's fastest and tallest roller coaster in Sandusky, Ohio.
The new coaster will be named "Top Thrill Dragster." and will be ready for the 2003 season at a cost of $25 Million. It will be 420 feet tall and reach speeds up to 120 mph!!!
I've enjoyed riding on coasters for over 40 year....but don't know if I'll get on this Monster!!!

12 Second:
have you ever ridden the coasters at Knott's Berry Farm in California? I took our grandsons there several years ago, and we had so much fun! Montezuma's Revenge was my favorite!
BTW, Cedar Point now owns KBF.
That roller coster looks awesome!!! I was actually planning a trip out to Cedar Point with the wife and some other friends that still like to ride roller costers.
Actually, I go out of my way to ride roller coasters. Sorry to say I haven't been to Sandusky but when this one opens...
Kathi...When you are in Las Vegas for Bragg-Smith, take a ride out I-15 to Primm, Neveda (I-15 south toward CA). The big casino there is Buffalo Bill's. The casino itself is something to see (Wild West decor) but I make the trip there for The Desperado. It's probably the best roller coaster I've ever been on...and I've been on a few!! Primm is only about 30 minutes from Vegas. This is one that is not to be missed. If you haven't been to Las Vegas, you might want to check out the coasters at New York New York and on top of the Stratosphere also. Have a ball out there. Sorry to say my next visit to Las Vegas won't be until April. I'd loved to have met you guys in February.
I don't know, it might be more scary to ride with ZDog or MikesZ06 at the Fest! It's going to be quite the horsepower shootout! Mike's going to a 422 now.

NYCHASM:
If you like coasters, Cedar Point is THE place. Nothing else comes close. I've been going to CP for over 35 years, and it keeps getting better, and better!
My wife and I rode Desperato in 2001.... lots of fun, very fast. But, I was sore for 2 days.... it beat me up pretty bad.
I guess I'm getting old...
I've ridden a lot of roller coasters in my days....
