Umm, what decal are we supposed to be looking at? Is it that yellow spot in the middle of your hood?

Roland, the 3-M piece is just a sample of low impact vinyl. The link has many pics. but not what I want to do. What are your views on decals in general bro?

Well friends,

Fineline Graphics do a nice job as shown
Guess I need to be a little more specific on design layout. Here it is......As you may see, T/R Z. Thinking of white and blue stripes and 13 stars "Confederate Flag" making a X going from bottom of doors even with mirrors coming up between badge and edge, ending at bottom front corners. Then to finish, fade in US stars and stripes, going around rear.

Maybe call it the Chevy Dukes of Hazard~

Thanks for your input Bill

Still trying to make the decision. Very hard, as I really want this and know it'll look better than I invision it. Waiting to put the 3-M clear bra on it. This would go on After any decal art work.

Cal...

Decals are tough to maintain. And not to mention that they most certainly will discolor the paint which will require a repaint to correct. Remember all the post about BSM removal and how some of the bros. are finding out that after a while, when BSMs are removed....paint mis-match.

If you must, you should consider going the way some have done their rides (quite expensive). Walker Bauer for one. Walker wanted a '00 Daytona Pace Car replica but of course, Corvette didn't offer one. So like any good Corvette buff, Walker bought a '00 MY coupe and had it customized to replicate the real pace car used at Daytona. His pace car replica was better (my opinion) then the real one because he had it painted and clear-coated on to his MY coupe. It is in the NCM Skydome right now.

Thanks Larry~ some good points to keep in mind. My train of thought was to do something more temporary instead of paint. Now, I'm wondering about 3-M clear bras. Car stays inside all the time, while parked, so do you think decals-clear bras would still discolor paint over an extended period of time?
