LS7 dyno power tune ??

I live in the Nashville Tenn, area. I am looking for a good shop, that can hopefully install a power tune in my 1932 ford pro street truck. I have a LS7 in it, from a donor ZO6. I also have a ZO6 PCM, done by speartech. I would like to get the most HP I can from the motor. All I have is headers, other than that it is stock. I have heard stories that so people can get up to 600 HP with just a PCM retune. That may be untrue, but what is realistic?

Re: LS7 dyno power tune ??

I've got a 2007 Z06 Bone Stock - - 443 before dyno tune, 471 after. FRC Tom from this forum tuned it at the Z06 Winterfest in Phoenix in March. 28 HP gain in a couple of pulls. Thanks Tom!

Re: LS7 dyno power tune ??

Thats good numbers. I would be happy with that. Talked to Vengence this week about a tune up. I may take it to them. But first, I am working with John at speartech. On just getting the motor to run right. The problem is I have this engine in a 1932 pro street truck. And the engine came out of a wrecked car. So the PCM is the factory unit out of the ZO6 vette. Well the PCM never had a turbo 400 to deal with, and I dont have all the other vette electronics to communicate with. So thats is a little tricky to get resolved. I did not buy the GMPP stand alone PCM that they offer for the crate LS7's. You cant program it for more power. I heard they will have one later, that can be programed. But if we can get this one right, that came with the motor. I can get it programed, for a little more power.
