Need help/recommendation for tune...

Anyone -

I could use some help & advice on a simple tune - -

I'm not planning any significant mods to my vehicle - maybe a Corsa (mainly for better sound) but no headers, no cam. This is not a project car - I've got too many of those as it is - just something to enjoy. There's plenty on tap out of the box IMHO. (Will I say that next year? Probably not.... oh well...)

SO - what I am looking for is a nice, moderate "cleanup" cal upload for my car. I'm just trying to get rid of the annoying "hanging" revs (emissions related) and sometimes questionable off-idle response to "sharpen" things up. I wouldn't mind a selectable defeat of TM either. I've heard of LS1 edit (now LS7 edit??) - I understand LG may have something (Lou - comments?) - and I'm sure there are others out there - but have no experience or knowledge with aftermarket cals. I could surf and read the claims - but it's much better to get input from people who've compared and experimented.

Humble thanks to anyone who can help!

JC,

Give Jim Hall @ Halltech a call. He can tune your C6/Z06 via LS2/7 Edit long distance via email.. You can purchase the entire package from Halltech.

Jim is a wonderful person and is extremely knowledgeable about our cars.

Google Halltech & remember to say hello from Fubu.

Also there is ***edit*** and ***edit***

I've read that these two are more end user freindly than ls1edit. I haven't used ls1edit myself, but I own and use hptuners on my ttz. HP supports live tuning and 2 or 3 bar for my turbos. HP/EFIL both have scan/log/edit ability, 3d graphs, charts. I use HP's external pids (like my wideband afr I connected), auto smoothing or % modding of table cells.

Thanks TT. I appreciate this help. I started looking at LS7Edit - and the stuff that comes from HallTech. very nice - but I may want to selectively NOT change some things. Wholesale defeat of all of the driveline protection is not necessarily a smart thing for a street car. I just want to sharpen things up a bit. I'll check this out!!!!
