Yes, the one guy grenaded a piston, but it is unsure of exactly what caused this to happen. This is actually a fairly long story, as I understand it. Not nearly as simple as your statement implies. Doubt seriously if it will be a big factor in Prochargers ultimate decision.
Sorry rz01, I gave you some bad info. I thought it was already on the market.
I'll bet it will be in the next 6 months, but probably only designed to do 4lbs boost without internal engine mods to lower the CR.

Well Mike,
I don't know where you are getting your info,
but I know where I am getting mine:
DIRECTLY from the owner of the Procharged 06 ZO6.
He is not just "one guy".
He is THE GUY who gave Procharger his BRAND NEW 06 ZO6 for SIX months so they could use it to base their kit off of.
Not only did the thing die on the way home from Procharger,
according to the owner, ATI SERIOULSY jerked him around after the engine died.
I know you are only getting one side of the story,
but I bet ANdy would never treat one of his customers like that. Besides, I have witnessed ATI jerking around customers and vendors for years and I would not recommend them to anyone.
A centrifugal supercharger is just a belt driven turbo anyway, Why settle for an imitation when you can have the real thing with no belts or parasitic drag to deal with?
Anyone who knows will tell you that Andy is the KING of forced induction on the west coast.
With that being said,
I don't know why you are not moving away from the centrifugal business Andy?
It would appear to me that twin turbos are the way to go at this point; followed by twin screw superchargers.
You must have come to the same conclusion or you wouldn't have put the effort into designing your own personal TT kit.
Either way,
you are the man Andy and I look forward to your TT kit and would love to see it running 5-7 psi on a 100% stock ZO6.
