Went to a local area car show today.
Saw this black 2007 C6Z06 ... here's what he's got ... and he's going for more.
Talked to him briefly, and he said that the 1020 to the wheels is off the dyno ... talking about a different set of heads ... and down the road mebbe going from SC to TT!
I invited him to join the Z06 Forum ... :yeadog;

No other pics handy; asked one of my club memers to shoot the plaque and send to me (didn't have my camera).
Got a big a$$ aluminum radiator; rest of the engine bay looks stock ... just "LSX 427" stick-on plates on the std fuel rail covers ...
stock rims and tires too ...
Guy only has 1700 miles on the car and 100 miles on this engine ...
He trailered it there ... I suggested to him that he should drive it! ...

I would have suggested driving it too! Sounds like a blast to drive. I would need the new tires though shortly after I broke in the engine.
Sweet car, but I don't get spending all that money on a car and then trailering it around to shows. Then again, I'd be a little afraid to use something like that... doesn't sound cheap.
He has the same block and crankshaft I have, similar heads and rods, and a blower (D1) that I maxed out a long time ago at much lower power levels.
The biggest giveaway though is the injectors. 60lb injectors....no way. I had 72 lb injectors at 110% duty cycle before I was forced to change to 95lb.
Somebody's been filling this guys head with BS (or he's just full of it himself). That's why his sign reads "capable of" rather than showing a real dyno sheet.
I hear you Mike ... that's why I asked him directly if he had dynoed the car or were these just hypothetical #'s ... he said he had dynoed ... I didn't challenge him for proof.
I'm trying to get his contact info ... we'll see ...
