OK,

Like last year I asked for group rates on dbl/dbl............
I also asked in Aug not Nov!!
La Quinta is 139.50 vs $115 last year.
They only have 20 total rooms left for the Feb 27 thru Mar 1 dates.

Holiday Inn Express Suites' renovation will be done by the 1st of the year.
Total reno right down to marble bathroom counters!
You passed it going to and from La Quinta last year!

The parking lot is bigger, they have more rooms available and bigger/smaller are also available at group rates...........

They are $129.00 and if we get 20+ prepaid they will comp a meeting room on Thur night from 6:00-10:00 for a party. You just have to keep the booze in the room, no running the halls!!

$250 fine to ME, for every violation since I'm the sponsor!

I have calls into 'The Grace Inn' and 'Wild Horse Pass' if you want to spend major $$ for luxury!!

La Quinta offer is good till 4:00 tomorrow to reserve the block. They have a big group coming in, that like us, will have last minute joiners that want the discount!
I forgot to ask if La Quinta went smokeless yet??

What do you think?
The reservation manager is e-mailing me specifics as I type!

Sounds like the Holiday Inn Express is a decent choice, but then again I am not a smoker...

The smoking part may be a moot point!!
I know you can't smoke in any indoor venue!!

I don't know the laws for motel/hotel??
Most choose 'smoke free' which means outside only!!

I just read the 'contract' preview between myself and Holiday Inn and there are a few things I will have to get corrected!!

It's getting late and I get up REALLY early!!

Keep an eye on this thread if you are coming to WinterFest!!

Either place sounds good--seems like HIE may be more hospitable, if they're willing to comp the meeting room.

Either way, count me in for a room, if you need a headcount!

OK, boys and girls!!

The reservations manager for The Grace Inn Hotel was out yesterday.
I left my phone number and he called me at work today!!

20 rooms, double/double $95 a night!!
Full Service Hotel with sports bar, restaurant, airport shuttle service!!
NO stupid contracts holding me liable for sh*t you people do!!
All rooms are non-smoking but most have balconies you can go out and smoke there!!

I asked the manager if I could discuss the offer on the forum and I would get back to him on Monday to work out those type of details. I told him of the other rates and said I see it as a lock but??
I can call him tomorrow and get the details and keywords!
I can then post the details on a new thread and you can pin it and let this one die!
