Angry Dah Senator's Need a Ride!

Some are saying Chevy isn't inovative enough just as Chevy's Cadilac is Kicking Ass on BMW's, and the ZR1 is beating up on Ferrari's, Porshe's, and Lamborginia's. I guess Europe should trash there car makers having the same economic problems, as well!
The Senator's that are saying that need a run around the ring so they can really dirty their diapers.

How about the G20 adding a oil company tax penalty for fostering most of the car upheaval! The oil companies and car companies really work together anyways.

As automotive enthusiasts, we tend to think in terms of performance. However, I think those Senators are referring to the type of innovation that matters to the average person such as fuel efficiency and quality. Most people have never even heard of the Nurburgring.

Re: Dah Senator's Need a Ride!

Right! But, there is a market and competition in those ranks, and anyone can understand that! Like I added in above the oil companies should stabilize this thing with cars as they have done so much to unstabilize it! They need to keep there prices stable so the car manfactures can plan from one month to the next. Now with the prices halving how can anyone justify the Volt. That's the problem!

Maybe GM should have got the Volt (and about 5 other cars they didn't think of yet) to market before the ZR1. In the big picture of our nation, we really need more cars like the Volt and not so much the ZR1. I know, I must have fallen and hit my head today.

Re: Dah Senator's Need a Ride!

Yes, I thought it was nuts with all the SUV's on sight when I bought my 01Z. But, demand and again oil prices supported it at that time. Electric cars as well as other variations have been scrubbed, and taken out, in the passed. Tax the oil companies for the motor companies, based on the oil companies (Russian, Veniswala, middle east, EXxon) prevailing price instability and that problem ceases! Gauranteed! If Chevy still can't make it let her go because downturns are a regular occurance. Greed up! Greed down!

Hey buddy....How's your head today?

I seen the VOLT at the IAA Car show and it is a sweet looking ride. I think it was Ice Blue Metallic in color with white leather interior. It was sweeet.

(Ouch, my head is hurting now)

I have an idea: instead of the taxpayers bailing the car companies out, how about the oil companies bail them out.
