Flat Out Power or Warranty

If you, a potential ZR-1 owner, had a choice between these "options" when ordering your Corvette, which would you choose.

Can't imagine how well an 800hp, small block, n/a pushrod motor will drive everyday on the street.

Re: Flat Out Power or Warranty

an 800 hp forced induction smallblock would drive fine on the street. NA and it'd be terrible, but boosted? it drives like stock until you're on it.

and gm's 'warranty' becomes a real adventure everytime you walk in the door with something performance related, the first response I usually get is oh you're driving the car wrong, or its within tolerance, such as the passenger window that would leak air over 70-80 mph, of course they claimed well it was fine on a test drive to us. I said well how's this, right here I have my off duty buddy who's going to take you for a ride right now and display that the window leaks over 70 mph....

they changed the gasket but a lil more work then necessary, don't you think?

Like undertaker says, GM isn't the best when it comes to warranty service anyway. I say buy a car and do whatever you want to it. Enjoy whatever you buy.
