hood window

people have different opinions on the hood window on the ZR-1, some people just don't like it... i think it's a good idea to show the engine cover, but i think it would look more aggressive if there's no engine cover so when you look through the hood window you see the Supercharger Laying on the engine. i think that would look so mean!
what do you guys think? do you agree?

Re: hood window

I think they should install some miniblinds in the window so you can show it off when you want to or close them when you don't.

Yeah, wouldn't that be sweet. A big solar panel right in the middle of the hood...just to with the environmentalists! Their tiny heads would explode!

There's only one problem with that, Terry. The owner would eventually get tired of being asked if the drapes match the carpet.

True Enough Jake ! We all grow weary of the CARpet question

Re: hood window

The supercharger sits underneath the intercooler so even if you remove the engine cover all you will see is the intercooler.

.......Ohhhhhhh......Intercooler....Ohhhhhh!

Re: hood window

The hood window is one of my least favorite features but I think Jake & Norm have a solution

Re: hood window

I have seen the ZR1 in person and the only thing I don't like is the hood window. I love the clear hood on Ferrari's and I think they fit the design well. They are in the rear and don't distract from the look. Most importantly the Ferrari engines are beutiful.
