If they needed to bring back a name it should be StingRay, the first real kickass Vette.
IMHO.............................................. ..........................
Corvette used to concentrate on two things equally ..
Body style and performance...Where is the Corvette tradition of having a n/a engine, ..
They could have gotten 100 more horses from the current 427 without forced induction..
Corvette needs to wake up..
I agree with Tom that Stingray would have been a better choice vs ZR1. That said I really liked the name Blue Devil as it was unquie and never used before.
I love the blue but after looking at it for a couple of days I'm not a fan of the two tone look. That dark grey is very stealth looking.
Repeating myself from another post: Spoilers, air dams, ground affects, exposed carbon fiber, exposed intercoolers, ceramic brakes, these are all things my 22 year old has or wants for his ricer rides. I'm not saying any of this is bad, but I do understand it better now seeing the age of the person responsible for it (Harlan Charles).

I may be way off on this guys, but saying the name ZR-1 belongs to the C4 is like saying Z06 belongs to the (original) C2. What's the difference? At least it isn't the blue devil or SuperSport, those sound like super heroes.
As long as it delivers on the performance promises I don't care if they call it a Civic. It will still drive just as fast regardless of the name.
Recycled name, Hot Wheels hood, ricer aero kit, bling "rims", goofy spear on the front fender ducts, outragous price............and yet I still wouldn't mind having one!
